Is the price of renting the yacht dependent on the number of quests?
No, the price for renting any catamaran does not depend on the number of guests onboard.
How many guests can a catamaran accommodate?
The maximum number of guests on board depends on the size of the boat you choose. See Catamarans page for detailed information for each vessel and keep in mind that if you are renting a crewed boat, your hostess and captain need a spot onboard too.
Is beddings and towels provided onboard the catamarans?
Bedding is provided, as well as the usual bath set of towels for each guest. You may bring a beach towel for use during the day.
What is the electrical supply onboard the yachts?
All catamarans offered by us use DC power with 220 volts. If your electrical equipment supports AC power and 110 volts you must bring onboard your personal inverters or adaptors.
Is there internet connection onboard?
Some of the boats offer free Wi-Fi coverage onboard. Check the specification list of the boat you are renting for further information.
BOOKING AND PAYMENT
What is the booking procedure?
You can check availability and make a reservation through our online search engine. For your convenience, the booking procedure is fairly simple. You can book your sailing holiday entirely online. All paperwork and details of your charter can be processed electronically.
Are all charters Saturday to Saturday?
All charters we offer start Saturday at 17:00 local time and end the following Saturday at 09:00 in the morning. So you can book online 7, 14 and 21 days. If you wish to rent a charter for a different time period you can send us a request via our online contact form and we will contact you to discuss the possibilities.
How do I pay?
Payment is done via bank transfer after signing your contract and receiving an invoice. Payment details are as follows:

What is the payment schedule?
The charter can be paid for in two installments:
For the crewed charters only: The APA deposit of 5000 EUR per week can be transferred with the second installment or paid in cash upon departure.
What is the security deposit for?
The security deposit is used to pay for any damage or losses inflicted on the vessel during your charter excluding those arising from normal wear or tear. The deposit is paid to the charter company before the start of your charter and is refunded after inspection of the boat upon your return. The amount of the deposit varies depending on the size of the boat you rent. The amount for each catamaran is stated in its specification list (see Catamarans page).
What is the cleaning fee for?
The cleaning fee is applied only to bareboat charters and is used for cleaning the boat after your charter and the washing of your dishes, sheets and towels.
What is the cancellation and refund policy?
In case of cancellation on your behalf, the first payment (50% of the charter price) is not refundable. Depending on whether we are able to re-sell your catamaran for the same booking period you may be refunded all or part of the second payment after we subtract all additional cost suffered due to your cancellation. The re-selling of the charter is not guaranteed.

What is included in the price of bareboat charters?
The prices stated on our website concerning the bareboat charters include only the renting fee of the boat. The fuel, port taxes, cleaning, provisions and the security deposit are additional costs. You can also add a captain and/or hostess to your charter. For more information on the additional costs supporting your charter, please visit the Catamarans page.
Who can skipper the bareboat catamarans?
Bareboats are rented only after presenting a recognized navigational certificate. The person who will skipper must have proof of navigational skills (VHF license is not needed for Greece). If none of the charter guests poses one, we can offer you a professional skipper. If you decide to add captain and/or hostess to your charter you must keep in mind that they need a spot onboard too.
What is included in the price of crewed charters?
The price of your crewed charter includes the renting fee of the yacht, the services of the crew (captain and hostess), cleaning and the usage of any water sports equipment available onboard. Any other expenses are met by the Advance Provisioning Allowance.
What is the amount of the Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA deposit) and what is it used for? (Crewed boats only)
The amount of the APA deposit is 5000 EUR per week and is payable before departure.
APA deposit shall be used to cover some of your variable voyage costs, such as fuel, food, provisions, marina and national parks fees, basic tourist tax, as well as other costs, not included on the charter fee. The crew is responsible for accounting for all expenses during the charter, as a detailed breakdown shall be provided to you at the end of your trip. The YACHT RENT team shall refund the balance of your deposit, namely the amount, which has not been used during the journey or you will need to make an additional payment for costs, which are not covered by the amount of the APA deposit.
