One of the closest islands to Athens and the northernmost one of the Cyclades archipelago, Andros is an attractive piece of land with rich history and exquisite architecture.Although the island is only 40 km long and its greatest breadth is 16 km, it has a lot of beauty to offer to its guests.

One of the most tourist developed places on Andros is Batsi, famous for its fabulous beaches, both organized and secluded ones. Agios Petros and Gavrio are located on the western side of the island and are also loved by the tourists. Windsurfers prefer the eastern side of Andros, where Ormos beach offers them perfect surfing conditions.

Chora is the capital of Andros and is full of culture. It has a very specific architecture style, a lot of interesting art museums and frequently hosts world exhibitions. 

The whole island is covered with beautiful and impressive mansions, an inheritance from the past century.
